August 6, 2010 Tauragė District Municipality Mayor Pranas Petrošius met  a delegation from Michelstadt (Germany), led by Volkmar Raabe. During sincere meeting Mayor Pranas Petrošius thanked the guests and especially Volhmar Raabe for benevolent assistance to the rehabilitation center-school “Pušelė”, other objects in Tauragė district. The Mayor expressed his satisfaction that this time many young people came to Tauragė.

July 16-19, 2010 at the invitation of Ostroda Municipality the delegation from Tauragė  - Municipal Vice Mayor Silverijus Statkus, Adviser to Mayor  Laimonas Norvilis , Deputy Director of Administration  Aušrinė  Norkienė and  Government Representative for Tauragė county Viktoras  Kovšovas visited Poland.

In  July 15,  the Mayor of Tauragė  District Pranas Petrošius, Director of Administration Algirdas Mosėjus and JSC ‘’Project Center’’ CEO Aidas Lisonka set  a  symbolic memorial capsule into the foundations of the stadium site defining the  importance of this  building. The letter, signed by the Mayor Pranas Petrošius and the head of the building organization Aidas  Lisonka, contains  the best intentions and wishes for future generations, sportsmen, fans; they want sporting success, hope and faith.

July 7, 2010, the Mayor Pranas Petrošius received the guests from Llanelli city (Wales, United Kingdom): Nigel Richards, the association general manager of the football club “Llanelli AFC” and other representatives of the delegation, who came to participate in 2010-2011 season in the League Cup tournament in the first qualifying round match with Tauragė “Tauras” football team

April 22, 2010 Hungarian Ambassador Peter Noszko-Horvath visited Taurage.

During the meeting the Municipality Mayor Pranas Petrošius presented geographical and economic situation of Taurage region, international relations, strategic business branches, thanked the guests for their attention to Taurage region. The guest presented the aim of his visit, i.e. to establish contacts and search for partners in various areas where the Hungarians have valuable experience: car production, information technology, chemistry, tourism, hotels and others. The Ambassador Peter Horvath-Noszko invited Lithuanian businessmen to participate in the programs, which are presented by Lithuanian and Hungarian Chamber of Commerce, whose purpose is to strengthen bilateral relations between Hungary and Lithuania in the fields of  economy, culture and tourism.

Charles Agosto, the Secretary General of the House also participated at the meeting. He is the General director of the  company JSC ECC CONSULTING BALTIC which has been engaged in financial consulting and marketing fields for 15 years already. According to Charles Agosto, their main objective is to contribute to the success of business partners in the Baltic countries. Hungarian export to   Lithuania has grown by 7-8 percent in the recent years. In addition, the Hungarian products and services have gained a good reputation in the Baltic countries.
The questions of the renovation of apartment houses in Hungary, culture and education sector development were discussed as well.
